In the serene world of Traces Of Nyphs, every moment matters, every encounter is meaningful, and every detail tells a story. To help you preserve these fleeting memories and unravel the lore of the world, two key features are now available in the hub: the Photo Album and the Library.
These two spaces are more than just menus — they are gateways to your personal adventure, a way to reflect on what you’ve seen and done, and a chance to connect deeper with the world and its inhabitants.
The Photo Album
The Photo Album lets you capture the magic of your journey through your own lens. Whenever you stumble upon a breathtaking landscape, a rare creature, or a charming moment with your Nifs, you can pause the game and take a photo. The photo mode allows you to frame the perfect shot — adjust the angle, wait for the right light, and snap the moment forever.
Once captured, your photos can be stored in the album, which is organized into beautiful spreads. Each spread features up to 12 slots, neatly arranged and categorized. Over time, your album becomes a vibrant mosaic of your exploration — from mysterious ruins bathed in moonlight, to playful Nifs tumbling in the meadow, to eerie silhouettes lurking in the swamps.
Photos are not just decorative — some NPCs will give you photography quests, asking you to capture specific moments, locations, or creatures in exchange for rewards and achievements. Tags and colored frames indicate the type of subject in each photo:
- 🩷 Blue: Nifs and their actions
- 💚 Green: Rare or remarkable flora
- ❤️ Red: Creatures encountered in the world
- 💜 Purple: Landscapes, horizons, and unusual locations
Your album reflects not only where you’ve been, but also who you’ve become during your journey.
The Library
In the quiet corner of the hub lies the Library — an interactive information center where you can dive into the lore, uncover the world’s secrets, and study everything you’ve collected.
At the heart of the Library stands a magical Book, opening to reveal beautifully animated pages full of knowledge. Its sections include:
- 🎯 Achievements: A showcase of your milestones and accomplishments.
- 🐾 Bestiary: Details about the Nifs you’ve met, including their behaviors, preferences, and care tips.
- 👥 NPCs: Brief biographies and notes on the people you’ve encountered and their relationships.

- 🎁 Collections: Souvenirs, trinkets, and other items you’ve gathered on your adventures.
Unknown or locked entries appear as outlines or question marks, inviting you to seek out the missing pieces. Flipping through the Book is more than just reading — it’s an experience, with subtle animations, sounds of rustling pages, and glowing illustrations that bring the world to life.
